About our Leadership Conference

The Light Foundation Leadership Conference is in partnership with Bridgewater State University hosting Massachusetts high-school students for a meaningful and challenging one-day of learning opportunities outside the classroom.

During our Leadership Conference, students participate in activities and dialogue with facilitators that include CEOs, professional athletes, television personalities, business and community leaders. The theme for this year’s conference is “GRIT to GREATNESS”. The Conference curriculum will include presentations, workshops and projects to inspire students to recommit themselves to achieving goals, staying connected and establishing a work ethic that stands out. Our goal is to awaken our students’ sense of passion and perseverance to help them navigate through challenging situations.

Our on-site activities encourage students to bring their best selves forward, step outside of their comfort zone, and indulge in new, innovative ways to communicate. Through various team-building experiences, they learn to develop the necessary skills for realizing their full potential by believing in themselves.
