About our Leadership Workshop
In partnership with Bridgewater State University, the Light Foundation Leadership Workshop hosts 200 Massachusetts high-school students for a fun and challenging one-day learning opportunity outside the classroom.
During the Leadership Workshop, students participate in activities and dialog with facilitators that include CEOs, professional athletes, and community leaders. They also collaborate in small groups to develop and cultivate leadership practices, leading to the creation and completion of a project that reflects their teamwork and critical thinking abilities.
Our on-site activities encourage them to step outside their comfort zone and indulge in new, innovative ways to communicate. Through various team-building experiences, they are equipped with the necessary tools to lead creative and professional projects, realizing their true potential by simply believing in themselves and taking that first step.
“The Leadership Workshop continues to expand its reach and make a lasting impact on the youth in our community. The topic of motivation is so important when it comes to dealing with young people and getting them to think about their future.”
